The Executive Health Assessment includes:

An initial two-hour session to review your health history and conduct a physical exam.

Genetic and nutrition-based laboratory tests including Fitgenes™ ™ Health and Wellbeing Genetic Profile Report and Fitgenes™ ™ Personalised Health Carb Choice Report.

Cardiovascular testing with our SphygmoCor® machine to determine arterial stiffness (a leading cause of heart attacks).

TESTING

Do you have a family history of ischemic heart disease and are you concerned about your heart health? Want to know a bit more so you can protect yourself and your family? Heart Health Testing will give you insight into your heart health and addressing potential risk factors. Cellworks is one of only two private practices in New Zealand using the SphygmoCor® machine to test for cardiovascular health.
The Heart Health testing programme includes:
An initial one-hour session using our state-of-the-art SphygmoCor® machine to test for arterial stiffness is the pre-cursor to hypertension. One of the major factors involved in heart attacks and SDS is hypertension. Learn more about SphygmoCor® and pulse wave analysis – here.
A feedback session on next steps to address any risk factors.

WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH AND WELLBEING?

 

At Cellworks, we use Fitgenes™. This effectively eliminates any guesswork around what will work for you as the treatment plan is based on your own genetic profile. This testing is designed to identify and address your genetic risk factors. Fitgenes™ is based on the science of Nutrigenomics and how our gene expression is influenced by our nutrition, exercise and lifestyle choices. Gene expression is a way of explaining how we feel in terms of our wellbeing and how effectively our bodies function.

Fitgenes™ testing involves a non-invasive saliva sample, analysed and returned as a personalised genetic profile. We take a holistic approach to address aspects of your genetic profile to provide a treatment plan based on nutritional supplements, food choices and types of exercise that will benefit you the most.

It is important to note that Fitgenes™ testing is not conducted in isolation – Fitgenes™ forms a major part of our Executive Health Assessment and we use that information to guide us through the Performance and Longevity programme.
